Yuga Labs has completed the first load test of the Otherside metaverse, attracting Otherside land holders to participate. This game allows users to turn their NFTs into playable characters in the game.
On July 6, Yuga Labs – the platform that created the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s NFT collection completed the load test of the Metaverse Otherside land.
The demo (game test) allows Otherside land holders to turn their NFTs into playable characters in the game. The game lasts about 25 minutes. The player then needs to verify ownership of Otherdeed and join the game.
Overall, feedback from players is positive. Adam Hollander, who owns 20 Otherdeeds, said he initially had trouble logging into the platform. However, he got in and was extremely impressed with the game. Accordingly, thousands of active players can “run around” 3D models without lag.
Similar to Hollander, tropoFarmer – NFT collector livestreamed the event on Twitter and said the game is extremely smooth, with no visual or input lag.
“The movement is fluid and fun. Yuga Labs supporting more than 2,500 players at the same time is extremely impressive.”
It seems that the load test process is going smoothly. Most players had no problems and enjoyed the experience. The official game will be released on July 16.
